He had not long been awoken and he had begun to take a spin around the town before his hunt, before he went in search of those he most needed to find , those that were important in his unrelenting quest to bring about dawn of Camelot's golden age. To see Arthur or one of his descendent's atop that ruby throne in all glory and splendour, to see them shine their reign glorious and never ending, to see Camelot at its very peak, better than the day's of Guntard. He longed to see his and Guntard's dream of the golden age that Guntard had worked ever so hard for, only for his silver age to crash down around him at his death. For this son Uther to tear the last king's reign asunder and bring about Camelot's darkest days since the wars of the Ruby Throne. He was sure Camelot would rise up ever higher one day and he Merlin the White Mage would see it born, and see it kept held high never ever to fall.
Though he had been warned quite recently in fact, a warning sent to him in a dream in his endless sleep state, a warning he knew not who from, but a warning none the less. It was a plea of Greed and vanity, and of the darkest of magic, a plea that had struck ice cold in the Mage's veins, telling him of the prophecy of Camelot's darkest hour and, and of the wizards fall. He knew not what they meant but the words themselves were haunting, and he had tried to block them from his sleep. He did not care for Prophecy's, he respected those that gave them but he did not exactly like Destiny at all, and him and fate had a rather rocky relationship. Yet it was still difficult to ignore the words that had been spoken to him, to decide that they were not worth pursuing.
So Merlin had decided to scout out the town, and find everything he could out about it , about the people who lived here, he had already met a few but now he wanted to know the limits, where the magic ended and if you escape into the greater part of the land without magic. So here The White Mage Stood, upon the edge of freedom, the Edge of the towns magic. he had reached out his hand and felt it, the surge of power just evaporating as it hit the world outside. He knew that just by looking down at the red line that if he stepped across something would happen to him, what, was he willing to find out. Possibly he could test and take the leap himself, or he could create a double of himself and send it across. He did know a spell that might protect him for a short while if he crossed the line, he would feel the effects but they would not reach him until the spell faded.
"Come forth and Speak, I know you are watching," His voice loud priced the silence and he spun on his heal to face whoever it was, his staff appearing at his side in one thought, he was dressed in the clothing of this land but the staff was the only thing he kept that looked like him. " And who are you?" At the one who was walking out in the Dark, did he know them, possibly but he had yet to see their full form.

Curse broken, powers and memories returned... Elsa was not happy. When the curse was broken she had literally spent all her time locked up in her room which had been completely frozen over. Though she had at one time had some degree of control over her power; here in Storybrooke they were rather unstable. Elsa lived in a fairly large house on the richer area of Storybrooke, but despite the size of the house, Elsa managed to freeze it better than any air conditioner. On this particular day, her 'mother' had attempted to get her out of her room, and Elsa had harmed her. Though it was not intentional and they all knew it, Elsa could not help the fear that boiled deep inside her. What if she hurt one of her 'siblings'? What if, what if. And so, Elsa began to pack. She gathered various belongings that had some form of meaning to her and clothing then in the dead of night..she snuck out of the house, and began making her way towards the town line. Though she was scared of losing memories of her real family, Elsa knew it was for the safety of everyone. Not just her family, everyone in Storybrooke. What if she could not control it and she ended up turning it into Arendelle? No, Elsa would not risk that. Elsa was about halfway to the town line when she noticed another figure moving in the same direction. The distance between them was enough that she could not identify him as anything other than a male. At the back of her mind, she could not help but wonder who else would be going to the town line. After David's little speech, as she had heard the details from her father, most people had decided to wait it out and see how things would go. But perhaps, just maybe, she was not the only one who wanted to be as they were during the curse. She followed behind the figure for a good ways until he had arrived at the line red line. Elsa quickly ducked behind one of the trees, observing the man as he seemed to be examining the line. She watched with curiosity until she heard his voice ring out in the silence. Instantly she froze; eyes wide as if a deer in headlights. "Shit." She cursed under her breath; watching as the magical get up appeared along with the staff. She gulped. Just great.
Elsa stuck her head out, looking at the man. Still from a distance she could not really see his face, she revealed herself from behind the tree. When he demanded her name, Elsa's brow furrowed and her lips formed a tight line. As if he needed to know her name. "I don't believe that's any of your business." She stated in a matter-of-fact tone, her head held high as she stood a good ten feet away. She suddenly felt nervous. Could she really cross the line with this guy standing there? Would he let her? Surely he would not interfere if that is what she truly wanted, but then again this was Storybrooke. A town full of nosy meddlers. Taking a defensive stance, Elsa's arms crossed over her chest, and she let out a huff. She took several steps closer until she was standing almost beside him, and just a few inches from the town line. Her eyes flickered to the line; staring for a moment, then she glanced back to the man. Discretely inching towards the line. "What are you even doing out here this time of night?" She asked in a somewhat demanding town, a scowl on her face. Someone else being out there had not been part of the plan, and she was gravely upset that her plan had not going according to. The plan was to escape while no one was around!

"Maybe it is not," Merlin said standing more relaxed now white oak staff at his side, he was clam and patient for now, though he found himself irritated slightly by in his opinion the rather rude introduction, most people would of just given them his name, rather than attitude when there was no reason for it. He had killed people before who had treated him like this, and he would have no qualms about doing it again, he didn't even know who this girl was and he wouldn't care. "However child," he said as if he was older than her which he was, though he didn't look like it. "It is always polite and good manners to tell someone your name when you first meet them," Merlin smirked ever so slightly looking at her waiting for her reaction. "How about I start with mine first then my lady," He bowed politely, "my name is Merlin, The White Mage, at your service and yours?" He questioned the curiosity dancing across his eyes for a moment. "You may have heard of me," He continued unsure at what the girls reaction to him would be, everyone had a different reaction to him and all of them very amusing, from those that worshipped him as if he was some time of god, those that hated the very ground he walked on and tried to kill him at every turn. Those that would be his friends and those that knew nothing about him. Every moment for Merlin was amusing, though if he was to say he liked it more when it was someone who knew not of him, it meant he had an impression to leave. It was always fun to meet new people, especially pretty girls and handsome guys. "Let's just say I was the High advisor of Camelot and once Sole Regent of the kingdom." He added as if that would be helpful. He watched her now with casual interest as she nearer to him and this line, he was interested in what it does and something told him it did something powerful to the town member's. As he watched the girl inch nearer as she though she was being discreet he smiled, he could tell she was trying to get across the line, but for what reason. "Is something troubling you, if you wish to leave this town there's no reason to be so cautious around me I wont interfere," plus she would be the perfect subject for study, something told him she would be able to leave but not necessarily intact, now was the perfect time to find out. "Though I do have one question before you go and it is an answer to your own my dear."" I am studying this magnificently drawn red line, with my magic I sense that there is a barrier here almost, that the magic beyond this line evaporates into mist, with my eyes I see the end of this town, I am here out of curiosity to find out what the effects of leaving this town would be." He sighed almost and took a more friendly stance his staff now at his side, he looked at her from the town line, "what does leaving do?"

Elsa paused. Eyeing the man for a moment. Merlin? This was Merlin? The mystical white mage? Elsa cocked an eyebrow. He could not be that much older than her! Yet the way people spoke of him you would think he was over a hundred years old or something. "I've heard of you." She said indifferently, though a hint of suspicion in her voice as she turned to look outward at what lay beyond the town line. "I always thought you were some old coot with pretty magic." She turned her head once she had finished, staring at him as he pointed out he would not stop. A smile spread over her lips, and she almost stepped over the line when he mentioned his question. She sighed, looking back at him and listening to him explain his theory.
"What does leaving do?"
Elsa took in a deep breath. Eyes landing on the solid, bright red line that went across the paved road. "What does leaving do?" She tilted her head in his direction. "My name is Elsa Vetur...In the Enchanted Forest, I was Queen Elsa of Arendelle," she paused, "former..queen." Elsa looked back at the line. "Crossing this line is the only way I can be just Elsa Vetur again. It's basically a restart button. Except...you only get one reset. Once you cross there's no getting the old you back. You'll never remember that old life. Just this one. Just this world. Not only that but you would lose your magic as well. And for me..." There was a sort of laugh, "for me that's a great thing. Magic is more...unstable here."
