She is a descendant of Peter Pan's brother Albert (Al-Bare). A very very long time ago when they were boys Malcom dared Albert to do something, but Albert found it to be too risky. He called him a chicken and picked fun and Albert, which led to him sneaking off at night to prove he wasn't. Things went a stray and he found himself falling through a portal that led him to the Earth we all know. He was orphaned, but found a home quick. He managed to have a great life, found love, married and had a child. He kept diaries of his past in the Enchanted forest, one that Tessa keeps with her has actual writings from a young Malcom as well at the beginning, Some of the stuff seemed so un real that they belived they were stories. The diaries were passed down to Tessa and Malcom the 3rd. They are the only two alive that they know of that are blood connected to Albert. Though they know nothing of Malcom/Pan line.
Tessa is a freelance travel writer and pilot. She is sweet and kind, but don't let that fool you. She can be a bit of messy person and has a way of holding on to things she should have long let go of. She enjoys playing music and singing and believes it can bring people together as much as story telling. Her plane crashed the second time they popped back in. Just as everyone returned the magic hit her plane and caused it to go down, but magic inside her that she didn't know she had had helped saved her life, just not the plane. So she's walking around town in the current season 3B with a broken leg.
