Andi grinned. She had decided to keep her nickname Andi. She walked out of her house, well her fathers but she lived with him, and grinned some more. She plugged in her earphones and thought of all that had happened. She felt so sorry for Belle. Belle didn’t deserve to lose Rumple. She was just so sweet and nice. No one that nice deserved to have something like that happen to them. At least in her opinion. Though, she wasn’t always right. Andi nodded her head as she listened to her music. When Andi was in her music, it made her think a lot about everything so her head was spinning out of control as she thought of the curse, the second curse, the months she lost, and everything else that had happened.
When she got to the library, Andi unlocked the library. Andi bit her bottom lip, trying not to expect the usually smile and hello from Belle. It just became part of her day when she went to work at the Library, she would go in, they’d have a nice chat and then they would go on and do their work. Now, they weren’t close friends but in Andi’s book they were friends. She had went to see Belle and comfort her and everything. Andi…she never encountered Rumple so she didn’t really believe that he was as evil as everyone said he could be. Andi glanced around as she went to the desk. She, even though she knew, had been hoping, somewhere deep inside, that Belle would be their like normal. But…obviously, that was not going to happen.
Andi started putting the books back, continuing to listen to the music. So much had happened in her life. Her mother dying when she was just a little girl, her and her sisters finding out about the magical garden, the Enchantress, which wasn’t what she called herself but Andi and her sisters agreed she was enchanted their father. And they were right. Andi was in trouble then though. The Enchantress had fooled her father into thinking that Andi wasn’t the right kind of princess. That she was dark and just wanted the crown to herself. That wasn’t true at all but when they remembered everything, she was kicked out of the house. It took long grueling work to convince her father that she wasn’t like that. Though, her father just thought that the Enchantress was confused. He was still in love with her.
Andi stopped for a moment and sighed. That was the worst, she had to say. Her father hating her, wishing that she wasn’t who she was. Her sisters knew it wasn’t right, that the Enchantress did something. But that didn’t help. Her father rejected her, told her she wasn’t fit to be in his family. For a month, Andi had lived in the Library. She’d go to sleep there, she’d do her work stuff, and afterwards she’d just go walking around or go to the woods. Now…the woods weren’t safe and Andi hated that so much. The woods had been her safe place. The place she could just let go of everything. Now…she couldn’t go there. Andi put the rest of the books up and went to the computer. She had to send out letters to people who were about have to pay late fees.
She went through the books dates and wrote down the names down on a piece of paper and let out another sigh. It wasn’t that it was boring or anything, she just felt as if the library was just so empty. It shouldn’t feel like that, a library should be lit out with people and everyone looking for books and checking them out and making small conversations with other people in the room. Not where barely anyone came in and when they did, they just got the book and checked it out and left. Andi ran a hand through her hair as she finished writing the names. She glanced down and frowned slightly. Five names were written down. They were irregulars who only came in just to get a book for some reason. She had suspected the books to be used for something other than personal pleasure, but what could Andi do about it?
Andi looked up slightly hearing the door open. “Hello.” She said with a slight smile. She recognized him as Henry. They spoke a few times before. But that was before…before Emma and Henry left and forgot about them. “Are you looking for any book in particular?” She asked him. She wouldn’t give away that she knew him. “I’m Andi…what’s your name?” She asked again. “It’s just we don’t normally get kids, not that you such a little kid, in here. Not many kids like reading, it’s a shame really.” She told him with a small smile. It really was, for Andi books were her solace, besides dancing and music.
