Belinda pushed her long, shimmering hair onto her back, checking herself out in every reflection of every window as she made her way through Main Street. She was late, as usual, but was in no rush. Only the best were fashionably late, especially for this occasion. She had long enjoyed her life as Adelaide Marx, the popular and well -loved actress, and with the curse broken she planned on continuing to live this life. There was nothing for her back in Kildenree, except Murphy. Flashes of her old life came in waves and the only fond ones she could recall involved him. Closing her eyes, she pictured him and smiled. His dark hair, his warm smile, and a mind filled with the most devious plans. How she was ever deserving of such a friend, she didn’t know. Her mind wandered back to the time she was victorious, the time she believed the world would finally see things her way. Successfully, she had convinced everyone she was Princess Ophelia, and was to be married to Prince Marik. Marik wasn’t terrible to look at, and had massive amounts of wealth and power-two of her favorites…. She continued to daydream until she was snapped out of it by the sound of her cell phone ringing. Oh how she loved technology. Pulling it out of her purse, she realized the ringing was only the sound of the alarm. Every meeting she had been planned through her phone and this alarm was telling her she was 20 minutes late. Punching the dismiss button with her well-manicured pointer finger, she looked at her reflection in the phones screen before she tossed it back into her purse. Usually during script readings she would dress down, no need to put in all the effort. But today was different. She was heading to meet Jason, wait make that Conrad, a man she had worked with many times before. The kicker was this would be the first time they were to meet after the curse was broken. Conrad was a loyal friend of Ophelia’s, one that had helped her ruin Belinda’s ingenious plan. Belinda was uncertain if Conrad would still show up to the theater now that he knew. In preparation she had gone out all, wearing a small sequined dress that accentuated all of her best assets. If she knew anything about men, she knew that most of them thought with their organ, not their brains. Convincing Conrad could be difficult now that his memories had returned, though before the curse was lifted it certainly hadn’t been. They were both young and attractive, and in her world it was bound to happen. She had enjoyed Conrad’s company as Adelaide, as she had many other men. Conrad was handsome, sharp and brought out a side of her that was rare to see. Now she had a plan that involved convincing Conrad to ditch the goody-good Ophelia and taste a little bit of the dark side. Her lips curved into a smile when she thought about all the fun they could have together. Turning on her heels, she lifted her off her sunglasses and tucked them away. She considered pulling out her small mirror to check her makeup… but who was she kidding? She looked fabulous, as always and needed no more reassurance. With one small push she entered through the front door and headed through the lobby. Conrad usually waited for her on stage, day dreaming the performance of his works. Sometimes she would watch him before making herself known; he would pace back and forth, his brow furrowed as he planned every detail. Belinda felt a slight twinge, an unfamiliar twinge in her gut. Guilt? Nerves? No, that couldn’t be it. She brushed the feeling aside, lifting her chin up high as she used both hands to dramatically open the entrance to the theater. “Oh Jason my love!” She called out, projecting her voice to reach every corner of the theater. Purposely she called him Jason, as if she were tying to act like nothing had changed. She looked towards the stage and saw he wasn’t in his usual spot. “Did you decide to ditch little ol’ me?” She plastered a fake frown on her face, making her way up the aisle towards the stage. "curtain call!" ------------------- Conrad-Jason Kiral ------------------- Even as Jason, Conrad was not one for drinking, he would touch it every now and then but, well he didn't feel it was right, you needed your wits about you after all. You needed to be able to be focused on what was going on on around you, you could not be half drunk and half focused in the middle of a fight or battle, that sort of thing would get you killed, you need to be focused on the opponent in front of you, to not make any slip up or mistakes, you needed to be aware of what was happening. As Jason he needed to be focused on his writing, his scripts for both Tv and the stage, he needed to make sure his vision was seen properly.
Conrad or Jason or whatever his name was at the moment, was sat in the darker areas of theatre. He had a drink there in front of him but he had barely touched it for at least three sips. As he watched the stage from where he was, just waiting ever so patiently. He was both disgusted by himself during the curse, and at the same time intrigued, if the one he was waiting for would actually turn up. His curiosity had once again gotten the better of him, he was curious to see what would happen so had stayed and gone to the theatre today, instead of doing what he should be doing, looking for his friends. He was ever so curious as to if Belinda yes Belinda would ever actually show up.
It had seemed that during the curse both his and Belinda's cursed selves had more less dated, or at least flirted, he didn't think they ever really talked about what it was. It just thinking about that term when it came to thinking of any sort of relationship with Belinda made the twenty two year old shiver. However it had happened, and they had been quite close with their work together, she had often brought a lot of his visions to life, being the staring role in quite a lot of his plays, that was for sure. He was grateful for that, because he had gotten quite a lot of enjoyment out of it. Though he was beginning to think Jason got a lot more enjoyment than he should of with her. Considering they were supposed to be enemies, he couldn't believe he would ever do that to Ophelia, he would have to apologize to her when he saw her. He just had to hope that the Jason in him didn't come out. Urgh his head hurt thinking about those two different lives and people.
Conrad looked up from where he was sat as he heard someone walk into the theatre. He kept to where he was sat not making a peep. He heard the footsteps and recognised them instantly as Belinda's. He sighed he really hoped she would not actually come, but it seem this was going to be a rather interesting day. He really wished he had his sword right now, he could quite easily sneak up on her, and slice that pretty head from her shoulders. Sadly Ophelia wouldn't like that, they needed to know where Marik was after all. If he killed Belinda he would never know where Marik was. He might even be able to use her attraction for him, if she actually had one, to pull information about Marik from her.
He watched her from where he was and his eyes darkened, she had warn something very appealing to the Jason within him, that was not good. Fighting a part of himself was not going to be fun.
He took another sip of the drink then stood up as she spoke. "Oh no my dear Adelaide," he called out "I was actually planning to surprise you, maybe even give you a little gift." He took a few strides and finally reached the stage. "Belinda," He spoke his tone soft but threatening. "what are you doing here?"

Belinda grinned, looking up at the stage as Conrad entered. As usual he looked quite handsome, which seemed like more of a reason for her to convince him to take her side. From the looks of it, he wasn’t exactly in his usual state of mind. In his hand he seemed to be carrying a drink of some sorts. Liquid courage, she assumed. The idea of it almost made her laugh. Conrad… rather Jason didn’t like drinking much at all. She recalled one night after a performance they had visited Cady’s Bar to celebrate… [Before the curse was broken]Adelaide pushed open the doors to the bar with both hands, her usual way to make an entrance. Inside Cady’s were co-stars and audience members alike, and they clapped when she walked in. Oh how she loved that sound. After the play was over everyone had headed over there to celebrate the final performance. Being such a hit, the play had run for two weeks, rather than a few shows. As she began to head in, she turned her head to make sure Jason was behind her. She noticed he hesitated before going on, so she lightly grabbed his hand and gave it a squeeze. This was the first play they had worked on together and she had greatly enjoyed it. “Come on hun, these people are all here to celebrate your play” Smiling brightly, she pulled him behind her into the middle of the room. “Now this is who y’all should be clapping for!” Letting go of his hand, she dramatically bowed to Jason and a few others joined her, laughing. A few people tried to talk to her and Jason, but after a while the commotion died down a little and Adelaide made her way back over to him. Right after the performance she had changed out of her costume and into a pair of skinny jeans and a simple, purple tank top. She had mostly washed off all of her make-up, and for once actually looked rather natural instead of made up. Her long hair lay in thick waved on her shoulders and around her face. Adelaide stepped up behind Jason and tapped his shoulder, leaning forward to ask him a question. The bar was rather so loud so she put her mouth close to his ear. “Want to have a drink with me?” A piece of her hair fell from behind her ear and as she spoke to him, it brushed over his shoulder. Of course, she had considered that this play writer was incredibly good looking, and younger than her to boot. Adelaide loved younger men, always so eager. But she had always been good with mixing business and pleasure in the past; avoiding it as much as possible. Of course there was a time for everything….. [The present] Belinda slowly walked up the small set of steps onto the stage. She smirked at his comment, tossing her purse onto the stage and closing the gap between Conrad and herself. Looking him directly in the eye, she reached forward and took hold of his drink, slipping it from his grasp and bringing it up to her lips. She winked, took a sip and handed it back, leaving a set of pink lipstick prints on the rim. “Oh you know how much I love gifts! What ever could it be?” She swooned, playing along. Slipping on of her hands behind him, she pulled his body close to hers by grabbing his ass. Leaning into his chest, her face inches from his she switched her tone of voice slightly. ”Oh handsome Conrad, you know exactly what I’m doing here.” Her voice was thick and alluring, yet poisonous. She licked her lips, causing her tongue to barely miss Conrad’s. “I was afraid you wouldn’t show but…. Here you are.” She ran his fingers down his chest, a smile on her face. ”The real question here Conrad is, why did you show up?” She grasp onto the front of his shirt, staring deeply into his eyes. Conrad showing up could be a good sign for her. Belinda had come with no weapons, except her body and wit. So far, as she could tell by being so close to him, Conrad had also left his weapons behind… well most of them… Conrad of Bayern/ Jason Kiral
