There had been plenty of confusion since the curse started breaking and everyone started to remember who they had once been in the Enchanted Forest. Eilonwy was one of the few who felt the curse breaking was a bad thing. It wasn't Emma Swan's fault of course, it was that pain in the ass Achren. Shortly before the curse had washed over their land, her so called "aunt" had kidnapped Taran, the silly boy Eilonwy had come to love, and tried to use his imprisonment to force Eilonwy to do her bidding. But a few days later, the curse came and Taran was set free again. For those twenty-eight years, not that either of them noticed how long it had really been, she and Taran had been able to be together. Even though they hadn't remembered who they truly were, it was certainly preferable to what was happening now. When the curse broke Achren evidently remembered who she was pretty quickly, and took a chance while everyone was still trying to figure out what had happened to kidnap Taran once again and vanish. You would think it would be hard to hide in such a small town, but for all her efforts Eilonwy had not been able to find hide or hair of either of them.
She couldn't ask the sheriff for help, because everyone knew who Emma Swan's parents were, and she doubted that the Charmings would approve of some of the things she planned to do to Achren when she found her. The mayor was an obvious no, some of the more zealous haters of the Evil Queen might start to assume she was evil if she started working with Regina Mills. After considering her options, she had eventually decided to come here, Mr. Gold's pawnshop. Of course, in their old lands he was known as Rumplestilskin, the Dark One, feared across all the lands. Anyone could make a deal with Mr. Gold, for the right price. The only risk was if Achren had already been here and made a deal with him first. She came to a stop just outside the door. What if Achren had already gotten here? What if Rumplestilskin told her about their meeting after she left, or worse delivered Eilonwy straight into Achren's waiting arms? No, I have to believe that won't happen. I can definitely save Taran, and I will. No matter the price. Steeling herself she pushed the door open, hearing the little bell ring to alert Mr. Gold that he had a visitor.
Looking around, the shop looked the same as it had in her memories from before the curse broke. It was a strangely comforting sight to see that not much had changed. She always loved hanging out here during the curse, and even after it broke she still enjoyed coming down to the old pawnshop. It was only this meeting that caused her to heart to fill with trepidation. Mr. Gold had always seemed to be of an alright sort during the curse, but how would he act now that he remembered who he was? Rumplestilskin wasn't exactly known for his wonderful character. "Mr. Gold?" She called, looking around the shop for the man, "Are you free?".
