"A dark presence" ------------------- The Little Prince-Henry ------------------- Henry should most likely have not followed the Raven, th raven which he knew belong to the witch Maleficent, one of this mother's old, friends. Old being that wasn't really the case any more by the looks of things. Henry should of gone to his mom Regina and told her what he had found out, but curiosity and of course wanting to be a hero and know what was going on got the better of him. He wanted to see where the raven was going, and if it really did mean what he though it meant, that maleficent was here and alive. He was clever enough to leave a note for Emma to tell him he might be back late from the park. If he said he was following a Raven he would be grounded in one second flat he was sure of it.
So Henry made sure that the Raven he was seeing was from the one in the book and he followed it from a long distance, making sure to hide so it didn't see him at all. He made sure to be sneaky and silent he didn't want to give a way his position, because if Maleficent was really here he would need to find out her plan. To do that he would need to be quiet and find a really good hiding place. For all he knew though this was her bird and it was just going somewhere, Maleficent might not even be alive at all. He had to check it out though, because if there was a potential threat to the town the good guys would need to know.
He soon found himself at the mines and the Raven flew in, Henry looked around nervously just in case he was being followed, nope he wasn't so everything was good for now. So he he moved into the mines remembering to keep a distance from the Raven. It suddenly cawed and turned causing Henry to duck behind a nearby fallen rock. Did it know he was there, should he go back? No he did not need to go back people might be in danger for all he knew. So when to flew further in he followed it. Soon enough he lost it though as it had sped up faster. He suddenly felt worried at that and had begun to realize that perhaps it knew after all he was here. He was worried now that he might have fallen into some trap. He took a few more steps forward when he felt a dark presence nearby.

~Two hours earlier~"Come, my pet," Severine cooed as her arm outstretched into the ornate birdcage, "I have a task for you." The raven hopped from its pedestal onto her hand, as she retracted it from the cage before closing it. "I need you to hunt down the little Henry Mills. He will prove quite invaluable with restoring us back to our greatness, my child." She stroked Diablo lovingly as she walked over to the window of her third story bedroom. She opened the latch and pushed the window outwards, thrusting the hand with Diablo forwards as he took off with a loud caw. "And bring him to our cave in the mines when you find him!" She called out as the bird screeched as he sped off into the skies of Storybrooke. Yes, this was the beginning of her glorious rebirth. It had taken months of intensive research. But all her sources led her to believe that there was something extremely special about one cavern within the sprawling labyrinth of the mines. There was a quiet excitement that was building in her chest. Soon her power would be restored. Perhaps some of the gaps in her memories would be filled. As always, there was a very cold purpose in her rationality. This Henry child was very important to Regina. What better way to extract information from someone so near and dear to her? Hadn't she once said that love of any form was a weakness? She herself had once made the mistake of exposing her weakness in front of Regina. Well, the arrogant woman had done the same thing now. She'd have her revenge on Regina for breaking the orb and releasing that spell that had clearly been behind her...transformation. Severine had no intention of harming the boy...yet. She had no desire to harm him unless it became absolutely necessary to her plan, as it so happened. No, to harm him was to be foolhardy. Especially since she had yet to regain her powers. By the time that her plan would become evident, it would be too late. She smirked evilly as she painted her lips a dark crimson. With that done, she tied up her rather stylish boots and pocketed some sweets for the boy and stashed them into her crimson leather jacket. She tousled her platinum hair to give it more volume before she left. She placed on her motorcycle helmet and hoisted herself onto the crimson Ducati bike. She roared off into the distance like a bat out of hell. ~Present~The cave was dark, very, very dark. It was better that way. She needed it to look as if she had arrived after the boy. Yes, Diablo would soon be arriving if she assumed correctly. She had given herself ample time to arrive here and select her hiding place perfectly. In her subtle research she had uncovered a rumour that this cave led into an underground passage underneath the town's clocktower. This rumour was of course unconfirmed, but if it were true, she was sure she would find more information about what had happened to her powers. If not find them then and there. However, she could not ponder this plan any further. For she could hear the beating of Diablo's wings and his fevered caws. He eventually flew past her. The boy must still be lagging behind but would come soon.
Severine hid underneath an indentation in between two rocks. In the poor lighting she was next to invisible. Yes, she could hear the boy's hesitant foot steps now. It made her joyous to see that he was unwitting enough to take the bait. However, her plan had not been successfully fulfilled yet. She hadn't won just yet. She wouldn't celebrate this early. The boy walked past her without seeing her. When she was out of sight, she slid out from her hiding place and followed the boy. He stopped, perhaps feeling her presence. Now it begun. "Oh thank goodness I found you!" Her voice and facial expression was a perfect imitation of relief. "I saw you chase a bird in here when I was riding my bike nearby. I had to get off to follow you! This isn't any place for a little boy to be playing all alone!"

[OOC: So I totally lost this earlier thanks to my electric going, this might not be all that good ] Henry was pretty sure, no he was certain he had just been lead into a trap, he couldn't believe he had fallen for it either, how did she know e would follow her Raven. Maybe it was the Raven's idea, he was sure it was smart, just like most other magical animals of the Enchanted Forest. Maybe she hadn't know he was here until the Raven had lead him here, which meant there could be a chance to get out, a chance to escape, she might not even really know yet, the Raven might of not even gotten to her, so if there was a chance to get out he should. He should do it to warn the others, tell both his mom's that maleficent was here, that she might be plotting something, he didn't know what and he knew he shouldn't risk it, telling them was a heroic enough tight? If she had brought him here for a reason it would be against his family, so he had to get out. He felt that presence behind him this time and he quickly turned sharply to find someone a girl behind him, causing him to frown slightly, but he relaxed, she wasn't maleficent, and she seemed friendly enough. But why didn't she stop him in the fist place if she saw him going in? He also found himself feeling a little jumpy and on edge as if something was going to happen. Then he realized he had to get out and he had to take this person with him, he had to stop her from getting hurt as well, that wouldn't be right her following him in here only to get hurt because he wanted to be a hero. "It's Meleifcent's raven,," Henry told her hoping she would know who he was talking about, " she's in here we got to go and warn everyone before she come's."
