Someone was tramping through her part of the forest again. It seemed more and more this was starting to happen. Tink snuck through the brush along the trail this intruder was taking, her feet making not a sound on the forest floor. When she saw who it was, she frowned. That pirate, Captain Hook. She had hoped he would have gotten off the island by now but apparently he had not. It was much tougher than he had thought it would be though. Tink raced ahead of him, still nearly silent, certainly not enough to cause too much concern. When able to, she stepped out onto the path before him, facing him with crossed arms over her chest. There was no knife in her greeting this time, but she didn’t seem particularly happy to see him all the same. The truth about that was se had mixed feelings. On the one hand, it was nice to see another human being again. However, she really didn’t like strangers in her area. “Looking for me?” she asked cheekily, with one quirked brow and the tilt of her head. Tink knew this place well enough that if she didn’t want to be found, she usually wasn’t. The only one who could was Pan; even the Lost Boys couldn’t find her unless she wanted them to. Tink had been on the island for a long time and she knew many of its secrets. She was also as close to a friendly face as he would get in Neverland. Sure, Pan might make use of the pirate’s skills, but Hook would always need to wait for Pan to turn on him. It could come unexpected and sudden. She gave him an appraising looking before meeting his eyes. “You don’t look like you’re having much fun here.” “Not as easy as you thought to get off the island, hm?” she quipped with the touch of a smile. She had told him it wouldn’t be easy. Tink had once been able to leave the island but that when she was still a fairy and she had had Pan’s permission, but those days were long gone. Now, Pan seemed to enjoy the new toys too much to let them leave. Hook hadn’t believed her for whatever reason. Perhaps because she was a woman, perhaps because she was a fairy or perhaps because he was a pirate. She stepped closer to him, but still keeping a safe amount of distance between them. “What’s your next move, pirate?” Killian Jones

By the gods, Hook hated this island. What once had seemed a paradise now proved to be an accursed and loathsome hell, one from which he could not escape. How long had he been on Neverland? It was a question he asked himself often and no answer was forthcoming. If he couldn’t leave, he may never know, but he hadn’t resigned himself to that fate yet. The island may be a miserable place ruled by a miserable brat king, but it was also magical, and where there was magic, there was hope. There were rumors and leads to possible ways off of Neverland and he would follow up on each and every one until something paid off.
Most of those leads required trekking through the forest. He had begun to map the island and while he was still in the early process of that, he had come to know certain portions of it fairly well. Often, he could explore in peace. Pan and his lost ones enjoyed causing him trouble but they had other hobbies to keep them occupied as well. As long as he kept his guard up, he could spend long days cutting through thick jungle and searching new areas. Today he found himself on an older trail, one that would lead eventually to the mermaid lagoon, though he didn’t plan on stopping there today.
He stopped in his tracks as a figure left the surrounding brush and walked into his path. Tinker Bell stood before him, looking none too pleased to see him. She wasn’t threatening him with a knife this time, however, which was an improvement from their last meeting. He smiled as he looked her over, making no effort to conceal the way his eyes lingered over her curves. “Ah, Ms. Bell, you are a sight for sore eyes. You’re a lovely change from the usual lost boy I find out here. Tell me darling, have you missed me as much as I’ve missed you?” He laughed dryly as he stepped up closer to her. Would she try to keep the distance between them? “I’m enjoying myself a good deal more now, I must say.”
Her warning about the island was accurate. In his arrogance, he assumed he could come and go from Neverland whenever he pleased. It had, after all, once been as easy as that and he remembered those days vividly. Times had changed since then. Pan had changed, and now the comings and goings of the island were up to him. The fact made Hook hate him all the more. “Aye, love, this place is more a prison than any brig I’ve ever known. There’s hope yet. More, I think, if I have you on my side. Haven’t you grown tired of this place?”
She was keeping a safe amount of space between them. Amused, he tested the boundary further and pressed closer. Tink was living roughly in the forests of Neverland, but even so, she was still effortlessly lovely. He was taking advantage of the opportunity to appreciate that beauty before she disappeared on him again. “My next move? It should be obvious.” He looked into her eyes. She didn’t trust him, not yet anyway. Trust was something that would need to be won. “We could make a powerful team, love. You don’t have to face this place alone. Tell me more about Neverland, work with me, and I’ll make it worth your while.”

Hook certainly had issues with personal boundaries. Tink lifted her chin to look up at him as he pressed in closer to her, her jaw tensing slightly and her eyes hard. It wasn’t something she was much used to, having others so close, and she’d admit there was some discomfort in it for her. She could appreciate it was nicer than when the Lost Boys hit on her. Hook was a real man, not a childish man dressed in a child’s body as the Lost Boys were. Tink let her eyes roam his features in an unashamed way as he had gazed at her own body; he certainly was dark and handsome. Tink had never really thought about those kinds of thing before. As a fairy she wasn’t entitled to her own happily ever after, merely charged with finding it for others, so love and lust had never been thoughts in her mind really. Of course, Tink was without her wings and hardly much of a fairy anymore. She let her eyes linger on his mouth and his dark eyes, but it would take more than a handsome man for Tink to give her loyalties. His flirtations were met with an unimpressed gaze. “I may miss your rum,” she said with a smirking mouth. When he brought up the idea that they work together, she quirked a brow and then laughed in amazement. Did he really think that she would cross Pan for him? “There’s nothing out there for me,” she said, sharply, before her features softened slightly. “You may have your revenge waiting out there for you, but I don’t have anything.” The hardness of her voice hid the pain of that statement. All Tink had ever had was the Fairy Order, her wings and helping others, even though she often failed. She didn’t have that anymore and she had no idea what she would do with herself off this island. Besides, it wasn’t all that awful for her. She had her own space and wasn’t bothered all that much by Pan, even if she had to do some detestable things for him in order for that to be so. “I don’t need to be as frightened of Neverland as you,” she said with a slight taunt. “Pan trusts me and has his uses for me. I’m not going to cross him for some leather clad Casanova. If you insist on working against him, you’ll never leave the island. He owns this island and you while you’re here.” Tink, of course, had been known to be of some help to those who found themselves on the island, particularly the young boys as they needed to most help of all and were generally brought with little idea of what they were getting into. Then again, Pan didn’t let many of the boys leave with their life intact. Her hands went to her hips and she gazed at him again with s searching glance before she spoke once more. “What would be in it for me?” she asked, giving a hint that she might be willing to help him after all. However if she would were going to go against Pan, it would have to be for a good reason. Then again, helping someone escape Neverland really did seem like a good reason. One less toy for Pan to play with. Tink had fallen far but that still didn't mean she liked seeing another person toyed with as Pan did. She didn't like the death and destruction of Pan. Tinkerbell played his game, which meant he trusted her, but she certainly didn’t trust or like him. "What could you possibly offer me?" Killian Jones
