[Occ: Just after Henry gets his heart back]
There had been a moment, just a moment just after he had given his heart to Pan that Henry felt that he had made a terribly huge mistake, that he should of listened to his Parents, that he had been lead along. Henry had wanted to play the hero, he had wanted to save magic, and to be able to save everyone, the problem was Pan had played upon that, and because of it he had almost died. He had felt it just before he fell basically dead or almost dead, considering his mum Regina had preserved his body so they could get his heart back. He knew he had made a mistake and he had felt it he had felt death try and take him, and if not for his Mum, his Ma and his Grandma he would of been,he would of stayed dead. He knew now he needed to be more careful in the future, he needed to make sure he knew the truth for believing someone like Pan, he had thought Wendy was in danger, he had wanted to do it all to save her to make her feel better, he didn't want someone like Wendy dying.
He had been saved in the end though, his family who had tried so hard to find him, to save him from Pan, who had tried their hardest to try and stop Pan, and who he hadn't listened to, having listened to Pan instead, believing them to be lying like his family always did. They had done it they had saved him, he was alive able to breath and walk, he had come so close to death but they had saved him, he should of known they would never, ever give up that his family always, always found each other. He remembered from the book that saying, that his gram's and Grandpa would never really lose each other, and it was right his family always did in the end find one another.
Henry felt exhausted and a little weak after getting his heart back, he wanted to just lay down in bed back home and he didn't really care which home he did it in , Regina's or Emma's they were both his mum's and they both loved him, and he loved them. He felt safer know, he knew he was going to be all right and they would most likely be home soon, he didn't know what they had but they had something special for getting them off the island and getting back home to Storybrooke. It would all be over then, maybe after he would ask Gramp's about a real sword and some more training, he really needed to know how to protect himself against people like Pan.
At this moment Henry was in the Captain's quarter's lying down on the bed that was there, he was a little worried that Pan might turn up and ruin everything but he was pretty sure that he had been sorted out that he was safe now, safer than he had been ever since he had been kidnapped, he was amongst his family again. Then he would be home

that anyone can change her life. Ever since the curse had broken in Storybrooke it had almost been like living in the Enchanted Forest again, minus the castle and the lavish clothes. It seemed like there was a new adventure every day they woke up…and while there was something exciting about that, they had also nearly lost everything. First David because of the dreamshade, and then Henry when his heart was pulled out from his chest. Pan had taken it for his own, and if they hadn't been able to get it back then they'd have lost the special boy that they loved more than anything.
Her grandson wanted to be a hero so desperately, but that pure drive towards it without having experience with magic or the lands they came from was dangerous. Perhaps it was time that they shared more about the Enchanted Forest with him. There was a lot about his homeland that he didn't know - and they'd kept it from him partly to protect him. But being ignorant to such things was what allowed Pan to take advantage of him.
Regina had just left the room, after having protected Henry's heart using her own magic. Snow didn't witness her do it, but she knew that she planned to - and the look the older woman gave her as she left let her know that it had been done. No one could ever take Henry's heart again. A small, grateful, smile moved across her face for a moment. As Regina passed her and moved towards the deck of the ship, Snow felt a great love for her. Because of the little boy they'd nearly lost, her stepmother was able to find some peace…to find love, real unassuming, true love. Mary Margaret hoped that things between her and Regina would continue to get better as time went on…and their connection with Henry was a start at least.
They were all a bit nervous about leaving him alone, but it would be inevitable. They'd all have to sleep - and Henry was old enough that he might want some time to himself after his ordeal. Despite that possibility, Snow stuck her head in the captain's corridors and saw that he was still quite awake. "Hey Henry, you don't mind a bit of company, do you?" she asked gently, before taking a seat near the bed her grandson occupied. Until they were able to leave Neverland Peter Pan would be a threat. Snow White was determined to return home with her family. She'd already forgiven David for lying to her about the dreamshade, but it was no short of a miracle that had allowed him to come home - and Gold had promised to see that Charming was cured when they returned to Storybrooke.
There was no doubt she would have stayed behind in Neverland with David, no matter how many times he protested. But now - now they could all go home together, as a family. They'd gotten Henry back, and they weren't going to look back. "How are you feeling?" she asked him, looking at him with a proud expression. The boy had been through so much, and out of all of it…he followed his heart. That was a difficult thing to do, especially when it lead to loosing it.

Henry did realize that part of what lead Pan to being able to manipulate him so easily was that he had wanted to be a hero so badly, that he had wanted to be able to save the girl and wasn't willing to let innocent's suffer, not only that but he was willing to sacrifice thing's to be the hero, though he had thought it had just meant living on Neverland forever if he had given Peter his heart to save magic. It wasn't just about being a hero that Pan used, but his fears of adult's lying to him to gain his trust, Henry had really felt he could trust Pan, that he was telling the truth in the end, that he was the only one who ever would tell him the truth. Thinking about it though maybe those pipes Pan had played had made him more susceptible to what Pan wanted.
There was one thing Henry had decided he was going to be even more determined about when they got back to Storybrooke, and that was learning how exactly to defend himself, he believed he would need to learn how to fight, that he would need to for ever if someone was try hurt him or his family. He wanted to learn all his family's skills so that way he could protect both himself and them, so that he would not have to be scared of someone like Pan trying to hurt him again, the next time he would be be able to fight him off, or whoever of if he knew what to do. He knew he was protected enough at the moment anyway, that both his mum's and his whole family would protect him, and keep him safe from harm. The thing was though when Greg and Tamara had kidnapped him it had been basically right under their very noses, if it could happen then, it could surely happen again, so he needed to learn how to protect himself as well.
His mum had recently been down here, well actually she had brought him down here to rest because she knew just as much as he did that he needed it, not that he could get to sleep right now he was too worried about Pan to sleep very well. He felt that any moment now the boy who never grew up would jump out at him and try steal his heart once more,or at least hurt him in some other way. The good thing was that his heart was safe, and he was pretty sure no one could get to it, his mum had used magic to shield it, no one could take it out, not even he could, though there was something he wanted to ask Mr Gold about, about his heart but that could wait. He felt a lot safer now his mum had done that spell, if Pan couldn't get his heart than that meant what he wanted to get could not be accomplished, he had lost right?
Henry looked up as his gram's called out to him and he broke into a smile glad she had come down, to be honest while he needed to time to rest he didn't want to be alone right now, at least not until they got back home, he was sure Pan would not be able to follow them into Storybrooke he was really sure of it, otherwise surely he would of come himself to get him instead of using Greg and Tamara, right? "No I don't mind grandma," he kept his smile up before looking around nervously Henry looked at her for a bit just happy she was there, that he was safe with his family again. "How are we getting home?" Henry asked curiously, he was confused to how they were going to do it, Pan had kept saying there was no way off the Island as did most of the lost boys, had his family come up with some way to do, he was sure they had, his family was the best they were amazing.
How did he feel? That's what his grandma had asked and he knew, he knew he should tell the truth, and not just says he was okay, because well he wasn't okay not really, he was fine in that he was well and alive , but well he just felt sacred, but he had been keeping a brave face on for his mum and most other people, he just felt like he should tell his gram's though, he shouldn't hide it from her. "I feel rather weak and tired, but I can't sleep" still though he kept that brave face he always kept. "I'm scared that he's going to come back, I don't want him to hurt all of you," he added , he knew Pan wanted him but his family would protect him it meant they could get hurt, or worse, he didn't want that. "Could you stay with me until will we get back?" Henry asked.

that anyone can change her life. Grandma. It was still a word that she was getting used to. What a strange concept…to be a grandmother at 28 years old. The situation that her family found themselves in might have been a little…unconventional, but Snow White couldn't help but look around her and see nothing but love and loyalty. She wasn't really sure what else she could have asked for. They had proven that they would fight through anything for each other. Even Regina, who often wanted to go about things in a much more aggressive manor. But…for once, that aggression wasn't being pointed at her. One might even be able to mistake them for a real family. Mary Margaret gave Henry a gentle smile as he told that he didn't mind. He really was a very sweet boy. At the end of the day, she had to admit that Regina had done a really wonderful job of taking care of him. He had a very special experience with her, and in some ways Snow was jealous. She'd wished her stepmother had loved her.
Seeing him in pain had been unbearable, and even now as he looked over and asked how they were getting home her heart ached just a little bit. He should have never been brought here…never been robbed of his heart in the first place. Snow was just so thankful that he hadn't been robbed of his life, too. "Don't worry about that. Your father is going to see that we get home safely," she told him, a confident smile on her face. "All you need to worry about is resting," Snow nodded, her eyes set on her grandson. It was pretty incredible. She could see her father in his eyes.
Henry admitted that he felt tired and weak, but that he didn't think he would sleep. How could anyone blame him? He'd gone through an incredible ordeal. Neverland had never meant to house people the way it did…it was the place of children's dreams, but it had become nothing short of a nightmare under Pan's reign. Rightfully so, he was afraid that the immortal boy would return. Well, he might not be immortal now that he didn't have Henry's heart, but that was all the more reason to be cautious. Until they left Neverland, Peter Pan would have one motivation. To save his own life. That was a powerful motivation. Since Henry was his chance at power, at eternal life…there was no limit to what the heartless boy wonder would do to achieve his end.
When he asked if she would stay, Mary Margaret nodded her head. He would fall asleep soon enough. She and Charming still had a few things to talk about before they got back. That confession that she wanted to have another baby…the fact that he'd lied to her all that time. Part of her understood, but at the same time - that wasn't what they did. They were supposed to share everything. The good and the bad. "Sure, Henry…I'll stay with you," she nodded, her eyes steadily on him. "We're all just so happy you're safe. Nothing and no one can hurt you now. You're with family, and we will always find each other," Snow White told him with a decisive nod, and an assuring smile across her face.

"i'm going home" ------------------- The Little Prince-Henry ------------------- Being back in Storybrooke and being back safe with his family, that's what the eleven year old wanted right now. He didn't want to feel scared or frightened of what Pan might do to him, that he might die here on this island and never be able to see his family again, never having said goodbye. He just wanted to be home again surrounded by a loving family and friends, even on those boat he did not feel all that safe, Pan could be anywhere, at any time, just lying in wait. He could be planning exactly how to get at him, maybe he was going to hurt his parent's, hurt them to force him to give up his heart, to make a choice, either his parents die or he gives up his heart.
Henry knew which choice he would make, he wasn't sure there would be any other way, he'd try find one but he would make the heroes sacrifice, he knew he would give up his heart if it meant saving his family, Pan knew that as well. Pan knew exactly how to manipulate him, which was scary to Henry, the fact the Pan had known exactly how to get him to do what he wanted, it reminded him of Lucifer. He just hoped Pan did not try to harm his family to get to him, he would rather him just go for him directly, maybe he could fight him off if he found a weapon.
Either way he was frightened that if they didn't leave soon Pan would come to get them, it why he wanted his gram's there to keep him safe because he could not keep himself safe, not right now. He never usually admitted he was scared, he prided himself on being brave in the face of danger, but he had quite easily admitted to his gram's he was scared of Pan. Henry felt a bit better when he was told that his dad had found them away out of Neverland, that was good, the quicker they left the less likely Pan could hurt anyone.
Henry sat up a little wincing in pain, still feeling weak from having given his heart to Pan and almost dying. He hoped that soon he would recover, he didn't want to feel like this any more, weak and just about helpless, he wanted to be strong like his family were. They were the strongest family going, they had saved him from certain death, from a great evil. Not many family's could do that.
"What's dad got planned?" Henry asked curiously wanting to know how is dad was going to get them off the island, he knew his gram's had told him not worry about it but he just wanted to know. He winced again as he sat up fully, he was starting to think sitting up was a bad idea, his head was swimming a bit now. "Is it the same way he escaped before? Because Pan said no one leaves the island without him saying and he let dad leave, what if Pan knows and tries to stop us?" Henry was not trying to panic but it was rather evident on the eleven years old's face, he trusted his dad and his family, he just felt like Pan would know what was going on. Henry had faith though and belief, he believed and had faith that his family would see them home, that his father knew what he was doing.
His dad? He lay down thinking that through also deciding that it might be best to take his gram's advice and lay down, he was a little tired and his head hurt him when he sat up. "My dad's actually alive? It wasn't just my imagination?" Henry asked, he knew Neverland played tricks on you, but his dad had touched him he had actually touched him. He had thought his dad was dead, he never though he would see him again. He had believed that everything he had done with his dad, he would never of been able to do again, no more sword fighting, no more bonding and camping. All that stuff he had done just would never happen again all thanks to Tamara, she had shot him and Henry had been devastated. He had really thought he had lost a father figure, one of the most important in his life, it had hurt badly, it has felt worse than when Archie had died. even though it had not been long since he first met him, he had connected with him instantly and the bond had been almost shattered by his death. He had had to lock away the hurt of his dad being dead, he had to for Storybrooke's sake, as it and his mum had been in danger of dying and then he had been kidnapped, there had been barely any time to mourn him.
Now, now though he had found out he was alive, and he had not had much time to process it with his heart in his hand. Now he could and he found himself overjoyed, just overjoyed that his father was not dead, that he really could spend more time with him. That he really had come to save him even though he had been injured stuck in another world. His father was amazing and he was glad he had survived, not just for him but for his mom's sake, he knew she had been upset about it just as much as he had. he hoped that his father would be a big fixture in his life and Emma's life for along time to come, he wanted his father to stick around. He was just as amazing and awesome as the rest of his family.
His Gram's, both Grampa's, dad, Mom's even Hook who was now in his mind an honorary member, they were all just amazing and the best family the boy could ever have asked for. He never wanted to lose any of them ever, he had such much to learn from them and he had so much to do with them, losing any of them well that was not a happy ending. He knew what he wanted for a Happy ending, or at least he believed it to be and it was already half way there. His family working together, loving each other and not threatening one another. This already seemed a possibility, they had beaten Pan together, they had united over saving him. He hoped their friendship would stick, and when they finally went back to the Enchanted Forest, well they could all live together in a castle and be happy together. A Family. That's all he wanted for everyone to be happy.
What Henry wanted right now was to stay awake, he could rest when he got to Storybrooke, right now he needed to stay awake and alert. He needed to make sure nothing happened to him or his gram's, more importantly his gram's. But the bed was comfortable and resting was one of the best options, without rest how was he going to get stronger . His gram's was right he did need it, maybe as long as he stayed still and lay down he would be fine, he wouldn't need to sleep, after losing his heart he had slept enough. Henry looked at his gram's for a moment and smiled, "I knew you would all find me," Henry said before deciding to use the family motto, or at least Snow and Charming's and gave her a cheeky grin, "you guys always find me." He must admit though there was a moment he had felt they wouldn't, where he had actually started to give up hope and become one of the lost boys, that was until he had gotten the compact mirror. He should of known that charming's never, ever gave up on each other. He should of seen what Pan was doing but he couldn't and he had nearly paid the price for it.
Henry's eyes lit up happy and he smiled an extremely thankful smile when she told him she would stay. He was glad of that, he didn't want to be alone right now. He knew his heart couldn't be taken, his mom had placed some spell on it stop it being taken. He was unsure if that meant by himself as well. While his heart was protected he was unsure if Pan would try hurt him some other way, or find another way to keep himself alive. With his gram's here he felt an awful lot safer than he previously did, she would protect him, surely pan wouldn't dare come while his gram's was here, at least he hoped, he didn't want her hurt. "Thanks gram's thank you so much, I don't want to be alone down here at least not until we get home." Once they got home he would be safe and then it would be fine, then he could rest knowing he was safe. He looked at Gram's a massive grin forming on his face when she told him family always found each other, and he felt her hope and optimism when she told him he was safe and no one could hurt him. She was right and he was starting to feel it. "You and grampa always said that to each other in the book, I will always find you and you always did."
Henry tried to sit up again but decided against it, and just opted to lay down feeling slightly sleepier. "I heard from mom that you encountered mermaids, did you really?" Henry asked excited to learn something about their stay here. "What were they like, the book said they were not very nice, was that true?" He asked his grandmother, just trying to change the topic of the conversation not wanting to dwell on Pan and Neverland any more.

that anyone can change her life. Henry immediately jumped on the question of what Baelfire had planned. They'd had to capture Pan's shadow, which hadn't been the easiest thing in the world. Regina managed to use her magic and use the creature as a sail on the ship. Truthfully, she was worried about the shadow getting loose when they arrived, but Snow put trust in her stepmother to see to it as soon as they got back to Storybrooke. She was so happy that they would be going back…because there had been a moment there she was perfectly prepared to stay on the island with David. There was no way she could leave him behind - but in staying she would have been giving up Emma and Henry. The choice was unthinkable, and every fiber of her was grateful that Charming was safety aboard the Jolly Roger with them.
"Your dad had a solution that seems to be working, that's all you need to worry about. We're going home. It was quite the secret. Perhaps we'll tell you when we get back," she told him, trying to sound as reassuring as she could. The last thing she wanted to do was frighten him. If he knew that Pan's shadow wasn't only on board, but was what they were depending on to get home it might, rightfully, upset him. Snow White had faith in Bae and Regina, and it was enough for her. But Henry was still fragile after his ordeal and the last thing she wanted to do was stress him out even more.
She smiled widely as Henry marveled at the fact that Neal was still alive. It was an amazing turn of fate. Mary Margaret knew how much Emma and Henry loved him…and nothing made her happier than knowing that they would get to be together again. Although, she was sure that Emma and Neal had plenty to work out…and maybe they wouldn't even end up together, but no matter happened they were still a family, and at least Henry's father was alive to be able to fight for his family. It was encouraging. "He is alive and safe, and coming home," she commented, reaffirming everything he had said with an enthusiastic nod.
Henry said he'd knew they would find him all along, that they always did. That was the goal. Family stuck together no matter the challenges, and Snow wasn't going to give up on hers. "…and we always will, Little Prince," she said emphatically. He was a little Prince, and she couldn't help but wonder what his life would have been like if he had lived in the Enchanted Forest for his whole life. Would he be as noble and loving? Or would he have fallen into the privilege or royal life three generations later? It didn't really do anything to dwell on such things, really. Henry was perfect and wonderful just the way he was, and he wouldn't be the young man he was now if he'd grown up in the Enchanted Forest.
He seemed grateful that she was going to stay with him for a little while, and immediately got to asking about mermaids. Snow laughed gently and shook her head. "Not all mermaids are mean…and by their standards, they aren't mean at all. Many of them feel as if we trespass on their territory by taking to the seas. Some of them are just curious, and others are afraid," she explained gently. "There was a time they weren't treated very kindly…and I suppose there are still those who hunt them for all sorts of malicious reasons. Though…I must be honest they gave us a bit of trouble," she grinned a little, the adventure almost written across her face.
"Perhaps there will still come a day that you will encounter mermaids…but lets up that they are feeling a bit more playful rather than anxious when the time comes," Snow White said. She was curious about his time in Neverland and wanted to ask him about the things he'd experienced on his own adventure, but she was also afraid of bringing up any linger fear of Peter Pan that might still be there.
