It began with the earth shuddering and screaming beneath his feet.
Turning his head arrogantly to the side, Jafar had been contemplating the fates of his captured genies when the world had, quite unexpectedly, blurred from focus completely and utterly. A surge of magic threw him from the chaise he was reclining upon, onto the carpeted floor, to which Jafar uttered a cursed cry as he scrambled to stand again. Eventually reganing his feet, he looked about, wary and shocked, as the walls began to tremble. What, or whom, could have caused this, he wondered? Magic this powerful had to come from several entities, surely, rather than just one specific entity.
The world shuddered from view, as the sorcerer struggled to hold onto it, his hands clasped by his side as he furraged desperately in his mind in an attempt to figure out what was going on. What seemed like some hours later, but was probably not, the sorcerer found himself in the middle of what looked like a street, with tall white buildings and such about him, people who seemed to barely notice him as he tried to refoot himself... people who, apparently, were not nearly as afraid of him as they should be.
Gritting his teeth, Jafar held his head high, narrowing his eyes. Someone ha dbothered to take him from his time and place, someone who wanted him out of Wonderland... and in all his memory, Jafar could only think of one person.
"The Red Queen", he almost snarled her name, causing a few people to give him startled looks as he pushed past them, heading for the building that seemed to be gaining a lot of attention, apparently a tavern of sorts, he realised, as he entered, slamming the door behind him. Walking - somewhat calmly - Jafar moved towards where people were getting served, and looked the old lady serving up and down with a sneer on his face. "Woman. Tell me where this is," he demanded.

Belinda had a rather long and frustrating day. After leaving Conrad at the theater to ponder her offer, she realized she hadn’t had a bite to eat all day long. Trying to convince someone to betray their friends and come to the dark side was hard work, and currently all she wanted to do was curl up in her bed with a box of snack cakes. Her stomach insisted however, growling rather unattractively. The only place around was Granny’s Diner; a better alternative than going home and taking the time to prepare food herself. Sighing, she started to walk the short distance from the theater to the diner, her heels clicking sharply with every step. People of her status should not have to eat at diners. The food was sub-par and the atmosphere was so…. Homely. She considered only ordering dessert, the only item worth mentioning in the establishment. Running her fingers through her long blonde hair, she scanned the sky that was beginning to darken. She felt something in the air; an essence so thick she could almost taste it. Though she had no magical abilities despite many years of trying, Belinda was still able to detect when magic was being used around her. What now? The sun was slowly melting behind the clouds, and the small sequin dress that barely covered her body provided no comfort or warmth. With long strides she closed the gap between the diner and herself, pulling both doors open to enter. First rule of being an actress: Make yourself known as soon as you enter a room. Entering, she quickly scanned the area to see if anyone had watched her walk in. Much to her disdain, not a single person looked her way. A frown graced her lovely features, making her look like a child who had just been denied a treat. Finally her eyes fell upon the reason that no one was looking at her. Everyone seemed to be staring towards the counter, more specifically a man who had just approached it. ’How did he do it?’ She wondered. Sure he was dressed differently; but everyone just found out they were from a land of magic for the sakes of the gods, how could they possibly be shocked at this point? Staring at the back of his head, she took in his long black hair that seemed to glimmer in the light. His attire was extremely exotic…. And familiar. Her sky blue eyes widened and sparkled as she took him in. She knew this stranger, and her fingers twitched with delight. Biting her lip she slowly walked up towards him him. The old bat Granny behind the counter looked rather frightened, as she should be. Sliding behind Jafar, she leaned forward so that her lips were close to his ear. “Oh Jafar, dear, should I be hurt that you didn’t tell me you were coming for a visit?” The words dripped off her lips like honey as she placed her hand on his arm, allowing him to see her face. After many years she had learned never to startle an evil man. A piece of golden hair fell over her shoulder and brushed her cheeks as she slid into the stool next to where he was standing. The man's eyes widened, then an eyebrow raised at the familiar voice, and he snorted softly as that honeyed voice crept into his sense. Of course... he inwardly sighed before turning to her, reminding himself that patience was a virtue - and he was in an unknown world. "You will have to forgive me, my dear," he said, voice dripping in unhidden sarcasm. "My coming here was somewhat... untimed." To tell her he had no idea how he had gotten here or why he was here, he thought, would probably not do him much good.
The sorcerer eyed Balinda thoughtfully, not at all approving of the skimpy outfit she wore, and he frowned. "Tell me, dear, is that the depths you are willing to go to find favour in this place? I fear you have rather lost your touch, if that is so," he sneered.

Belinda grinned, the same old Jafar. So dark and always equipped with a snarky remark. She revelled in his presence, her hand still lingering on his arm. Making herself more comfrtable in her seat, she laid her large purse on the counter with her free hand. After spending all afternoon with Conrad, an evening with Jafar sounded like a relief. She could almost taste his power, a flavor she enjoyed so much that she could hardly resist licking her lips. Crossing one leg over the other, she flashed a little leg, just to annoy him further. "You don't like it Jafar? And here I thought you were so wordly." She teased, her fingers carressing his arm. Others were still staring at them, and Belinda could hardly blame the pathetic lot. Perhaps they sensed the power radiating from this man, this man who could crush everyone of them. Just the thought sent a tingle down her spine, and goosebumps on her skin. "This," She finally took her hand off of him and gestured to her attire, "is how they dress in this world. We're not in the old world anymore darling." She tossed her long hair onto her back, leaning towards him again. "To be quite honest I find it to be rather... liberating. It's amazing what one can accomplish with a mini skirt." She flashed him a wink, and patted the seat next to her. "Why don't you stay for a while, you look a bit out of your element." Watching him intently, she wondered how he fit into all of this. The curse had been lifted yes, but she had not seen Jafar around town under any other name during the curse. She would certainly remember that, and her alter ego would not have been able to resist. Why was he here? "Untimed you say? So I'm assuming you're here for pleasure, not business?" Despite her confusing relationship with Conrad during the curse, Belinda had every intention of getting back to her old self. Just being in Jafar's presense made her want to forget all those potentially "happy" thoughts of some sort of normal life. That moment was fleeting, almost as if it were a dream. Adelaide, her alter ego, was too soft and she could feel her trying to claw her way out. Pushing those thoughts far back into her mind, she focused on the current situation. She was almost worried that Jafar could see her thoughts, see those moments of weakness. She had to convince him otherwise. Jafar of Agrabah

Resisting the urge to roll his eyes, the sorcerer cleared his throat and refused himself the right to shuffle away from the girl. He rolled his eyes, snorting softly. "how I feel is irrelivant. It is unseemly fora woman to use her body in such a manner, Balinda,"
He laughed softly, a deep rumbling laugh. "This was not planned, to say the least," he admitted. "This unsavoury place is the last of its kind that I would wish to find myself in." he eyed her for a moment. "And what, my dear, brings you to this wretched land with its strange deeds

Belinda decided to ignore Jafar's comment on her clothing choices. She wasn't going to dress like a nun or an old lady for the gods sake. Some people just didn't understand, especially those who possessed magical ability. Because she had no magic of her own, Belinda had to make sure she used every possible resource she had available, including her body. She would never goes as far as whoring herself out, she had ways to get what she wanted without giving it away. From Jafar's response, Belinda got the feeling that he hadn't controlled his own entrance to Storybrooke. Interesting. Someone out there pulled one over on him, and she could sense his frustration and hatred over it. She knew of a few ways she could calm him down, though he probably wasn't in the mood for any of them. Leaning her elbow on the table, she turned her body towards him. "This place wasn't exactly a choice of mine either Jafar. Everyone from the Enchanted Forest was sent here, with no memories of who we were or where we came from. Regina, the minx, cursed everyone for 28 years. So now can you forgive me for my apparel?" She teased, placing her hand on top of one of his. "It is good to see you here though, even though I'm quite certain you rather care less, am I right?" Jafar was so.... aloof and she loved it. She was always up for a challenge, and as long as he didn't run away the points were in her favor. Belinda knew she laid it on thick, but she also knew she was loyal and strong; a worthy ally who was willing to put herself out on the line. Though Belinda often switched sides to which may benefit her the most, she always kept her promises and tried not to betray anyone who helped her our. In the past, Jafar had assisted her and she owed him. Showing him around Stroybrooke would be a start, but she wondered if perhaps he'd like assistance trying to get home. Most people around here were in a hurry to get back to their old lives. Belinda had no care for hers, and only wished she could find Murphy in all this mess. She intended on staying in this new world, at least most of the time. Jafar of Agrabah

Jafar snorted, rolling his eyes and removing his hand from under Belinda's with a slight sneer of disgust. "Nevertheless, it is unbecoming for a woman to debase herself, as you should well know."
The sorcerer took a deep sigh, relaxing back just a little. "I would much rather be in Agrabah, rather than this rotten hole," he admitted. "This... Regina woman. Who is she, and how do I find her?" he'd do whatever it took to return home, even if it meant murder.
For a moment, he considered ignoring the woman outright, but... allies were hard to come by. Jafar turned in his seat and stared at Balinda. "You know this place, I take it?"

Belinda repositioned herself so that her body was turned away from Jafar's, sliding her arms across her chest. Oh was he a tough nut to crack. She was always up for a challenge however, and wondered what it would take to get the man to admit he was the slight bit happy to see her. Again, she ignored his comment on her apparel, some people would never understand what she had to do to get by. Raising her eyebrow slighty, she watched as he relaxed, and tried to hold back her smile. He spoke of Agrabah and she wondered what it was like there, perhaps she could convince him to take her someday. "You have never heard of the Evil Queen Regina? You are really losing your touch Jafar." She winked, obviously teasing. She hoped he didn't take offense, but you never knew with these brooding bad boy types. Belinda was a bit taken aback when Jafar turned to her and stared. It was the first time this whole conversation that he actually seemed interested in her, and she wondered the intentions behind his question. Unfortunately for her, she couldn't refuse any request he asked of her without going back on their deal. If she assisted Jafar now she could possibly cross a name off her lists of debts. It was getting rather long and it'd be in her best interest to shorten it slightly. She mentally reminded herself to visit Merlin as well. "I do know it quite well darling, I have been stuck here for ages. I could show you where Regina lives if you'd like. The forest itself seems to attract a strange amount of unwanted visitors as well, I guarantee you there are ways to get out of this town. I'd be happy to help you." Happy wasn't exactly the emotion she was feeling, but she knew not to cross Jafar. She sighed, put her elbow on the counter and rested her chin on her hand as she looked into his eyes. "That is if you can stand being around me for that long." Smiling, she was actually quite pleased to get her mind off Conrad, Ophelia and Marik for a while. The drama was getting to be a bit too much for her. Jafar of Agrabah
