Timeline: Takes place after the second curse
Tink was very curious about the town line. She hadn't gotten much time to explore the town when she had last been here, not with Pan's shadow killing Blue and then the curse he had cast, which had left them all scrambling to save the inhabitants. She knew she could cross it, one of the few who were able. She, Hook, Emma and Henry; there probably wasn't many more. Carefully, Tink did just that, stepping across the town line and gazing back towards the town. It would be terrible, she thought, to be stuck in Storybrooke, though certainly not as bad as being stuck in Neverland. The past year, though, Tinkerbell had had the entire Enchanted Forest and all its kingdom at her fingertips. She hadn't explore them much but the option had always been there. Perhaps if she had left Hook behind but that was another thing she hadn't thought much about.
Unlike most of the town, Tinkerbell still remembered the last year when they had been back in the Enchanted Forest, but she didn't know what the rest of the town had been doing. Having gotten her wings back, one might think that Tinkerbell would rejoin the Fairy Order, but it had never been a thought in Tink's mind. She had never been a good part of that organization and after all she had been through, she didn't want to try it again. It wasn't meant to be, she had other things and people that she could better serve. Fortunately, Blue hadn't taken it too badly and Tink kept her wings as she left that family behind once more. Instead, Tinkerbell had been with Hook, looking for and then taking his ship back. It hadn't been the easiest year, but she was glad she remembered it. She had been captured by Blackbeard and Hook had been incapacitated at one point, causing her to go looking for pixie or fairy dust. Not long after all that, Hook had received a message that Emma's family was in trouble and there hadn't been a second of hesitation before they were fighting their way back to the Land Without Magic. While Hook had gone after Emma, Tink had returned to Storybrooke.
She knew magic worked in mysterious ways, but at least the caster was often known. Last time it had been Regina and while Tinkerbell wasn't her greatest fan, she didn't quite believe that Regina was responsible this time. With as many different magical beings as there was in Storybrooke, dismissing her as the culprit didn't narrow it down much. There weren't many obvious choices, so that left nearly everyone as a potential, but not many were known to have the power. Still with the right ingredients and enough determination, it was still an open question. Tink knew that she was hardly a detective and that Emma Swan and her family would be leading the investigation, but she had always had a curious nature and this was an intriguing question. Not to mention she very much wanted to return to the Enchanted Forest. She liked that land much better.
As Tink gazed back towards the town from outside the town line, she saw someone approaching and kept her gaze on them as her hand moved towards her knife, prepared for whoever it could be.
