History:
Piper is the grand-daughter of the shoemaker, she born in New York City. Her mother Mary-Ann the daughter of the shoemaker was sent to another world where things would be better a place where she would get her happy ending. The shoemaker was not well known and not very talented but a few people still brought his work soon his job would fell on hard times and he was getting poorer and poorer. One evening he only had enough leather to make one pair of shoes so he cut up the leather and placed it on his workplace to work on in the morning when the light was better. The next morning when he went back to his workbench to his amazement he found a beautiful pair of shoes; he examined it very careful and realized they were made from the leather that he had cut out. The shoes were very made better than he could ever done so quickly he placed in the window. The beautiful shoes were placed in the window and a gentleman brought them four times the price that the shoemaker had asked. The shoemaker finally had enough money to buy more leather and food to last his family several days. From the new leather he cut two more pairs of shoes, in the morning they were two beautifully stitched shoes he wondered who on earth could stitch so tiny stitches and so fast. Again the shoemaker placed them in the window and rich ladies and gentleman’s that never came to his shop came to buy his shoes.
Every day in the morning there were two or even five pairs of shoes where there was once leather. All sorts of shoes were made women, men, child sized shoes, some with laces, and some with buckles. He became well known for his wonderful shoes and each week he made more money. Once evening the Piper grandmother suggest they peek around the corner into the workshop to find out who was making the shoes for them. At midnight two tiny little men came through the window and began to work on the leather that laid on the workbench. Once they were done, the two little men made sure everything was neat and tidy like no one was ever there. A year later after they had found out who was helping them with the shoemaking the shoemakers wife suggest they leave gifts for the two little men, in the morning she made two little outfits. The watched until midnight and watched the two little men, they shouted in joy as soon as they saw the two little outfits putting them out and dancing around the room. They two little men disappeared again into the night. Again the shoemaker and his wife the next night left the leather waiting for the two little men to return but they never came. The shoemaker had now was left to make the shoes himself, he had plenty of costumers to feed his family expect the man could not copy the quality of the craftsmanship. Soon word went out about the shoemakers shoe, he became poor again.
Living off very little it was not life he wanted for his daughter so he went out in search for a place she could get her happy ending. The search ended when a wizard gave them a portal but the portal could only take one person so the shoemaker and his wife sent their only daughter. Unknown to them it sent her to world without magic, the land called New York City. The shoemaker’s daughter had a good life in the new land, she found love. In fact the woman found her true love and soon years later gave birth to a beautiful baby girl which they named Piper Marie Tailor. Piper grew up not knowing about her mother birthplace, the place that she should have grown up in.
