that anyone can change her life. Working at the school brought Mary Margaret a great deal of happiness. She'd always wanted to be a mother one day, and since that hadn't worked out for her just yet - being a teacher was the next best thing. The next generation was the most important asset that a community. The kids in Storybrooke were like no others. Maybe Mary Margaret was a little bit biased, but there wasn't anything wrong with that. She wanted each one of them to have a happy and healthy childhood, and since they spent so much of their time at school with her she definitely felt a huge responsibility towards them. And why shouldn't she? Their parents certainly expected a certain amount of professionalism in her craft, and they certainly all had opinions on what their children should be learning. The trouble often came when parents each wanted something different. Finding a compromise could be a challenge from time to time.
It was a lovely Friday afternoon, and Mary Margaret had just finished with her last class before she had an hour for lunch. She made her way towards the teachers lounge, where she was keeping her mid-day meal in the refrigerator set up for the employees of the school. It was mostly empty, which wasn't always true. It wasn't like she was the only teacher that worked at the school.
The young woman pulled out the lunch she had fixed for herself that morning and took a seat at one of the two white round tables that occupied the room. She made sure to position herself so that she could see out of the window. The sunlight lit the room with golden hue that made the room much more cheerful than it would have been otherwise. Mary Margaret had only been sitting there for a few minutes when Marcus O'Malley, one of her coworkers, asked if he could join her. "Of course Marcus," she smiled and gestured towards one of the empty seats. "How have your classes been today?" she asked him, and then quickly took a bit of her banana.

Marcus sat and opened his Lunch which Consisted of Tuna on white bread it was a very boring lunch but Marcus wasnt the adventurous sort of Person so it suited him as he sat there quietly for a minute he was nervous. He was lucky to have met Mary Margerat she was one of the few teachers that interacted with Marcus. " There going i guess i mean the kids give me a hard time sometimes but its all part of the job i guess" Marcus looked to her and Smiled and then went back to his lunch opening a can of tomato juice and drinking some of it.
He looked at Mary Margerat and smiled " How are your classes? " He said nervously Mary Margerat was a beautiful woman one that would make any guy lucky to have. But marcus would never asked her out he was too nervous of being rejected. He liked his life inside the box and wasnt prepared to change that.

that anyone can change her life. The clock on the wall kept ticking along as the two teachers sat in their break room. Maybe the more professional label of 'teacher's lounge' was more appropriate in some circles…but at the end of the day, it was simply their break room. Like any other, it was lined with tables and had all the general necessities for lunch. It was such a simple room, but Mary Margaret found it a comfortable place to spend her free time. The beautiful weather didn't hurt, and her eyes moved to the window and glanced momentarily as Marcus sat down next to her. He was a good looking and friendly fellow, but for whatever reason she didn't know much about her fellow teachers. It was like there was something keeping her from forming any sort of permanent bond. No husband, no kids, no parents, no siblings…no family.
The thoughts were forced out as quickly as they had crept up, and Mary Margaret focused instead on the fact that, for the moment, she wasn't all alone. She smiled lightly as Marcus told her that some of the kids were giving him a hard time. "I'm pretty sure it is the fine print on the job description that we forget is there sometimes," she half-joked and shook her head. Mary Margaret felt pretty lucky this year that she had a pretty good group of kids. Not all of them had happy lives at home, and some of them were bullied by peers. It was strange to sometimes see the difference between the was kids and adults will deal with a problem. At the very least, she's walked away with some wonderful lessons for herself, too.
"I can't image your students finding something displeasing about you…not enough that they could pester you about it," she told him cheerfully, setting aside the banana peel that no longer had the fruit inside. "It's the homework isn't it? It's always the homework," she laughed lightly and shook her head.
He'd asked her how her classes were going, and she shrugged her shoulders a little. "Just fine. I lucked out and got a good group. They are endlessly curious…if not a little energetic," Mary Margaret grinned. She didn't really remember anything about her childhood - and she certainly didn't remember every having that much energy to expend in her lifetime. But, she didn't doubt that every child, even the little girl she once was, possessed a vast amount of energy. The perks of being youthful, she supposed. "How long have you been teaching here?" she asked lightly - realizing how little she knew about her co-worker. They spent most of their hours in different classrooms - she didn't interact with them much at all. A fact she hoped to change.
