Her feet moved across the sand floor of Agrahba, but this wasn't her first time being there. She was born in Agrahba and abandoned very early in life. She never knew what it was like to have parents and a roof over her head. She and her brother did their best to survive by beginning and stealing. They were street rats, but didn't gain as much attention from the guards as an older boy. Her feet stopped as her head covered in the sheer white cloth looked to her left. It was the same alley way where Aladdin had given up the bread he had stolen for himself for her. She had hoped to see Aladdin, but events were taking place that kept the palace guarded. Agrahba had been the next destination her crew needed to hit. A man stole something from a, let's say client. She was going to get it back, the Robin Hood of the seas some called her. There was a big difference between her and Robin Hood, she may steal things back, but she steals more than she has to, keeping a loot for herself and her crew. Her head lowered as her feet continued to move. This particular customer was rather upset about a missing accessory. A pocket watch that seemed to have broken. Clearly that would need be fixed, but it wasn't her problem. She had the item and her crew had their rewards and had scattered fast. Apparently someone else was after the watch as well. Lalinka was curious to why this piece was so important. Maybe there was a secret compartment with fairy dust? a bean? Killian JonesSetting: This would be when Hook's crew and her crew are going after the same thing and ultimately leads her to be on his ship.

It was Killian's second time in Agrabah and he never would have returned to the damnably hot, desert-climated land without good reason. He and his crew had arrived to follow a lead on an item said to have magical capabilities. What kind, he didn’t know, nor did he care much. Magical items fetched a high price when sold to the right people and he meant to lay claim to it for that reason alone. He was not alone on this hunt. Reports from his men had told him there was another pirate band after the same piece of treasure, but they were nowhere near as fierce or as skilled as the crew of the Jolly Roger. If need be, they would go through them to take it, but he meant to threaten and intimidate them first to see if it could be handed over more peaceably. Killian was not cruel man, whatever his reputation might be.
The other crew did not seem to realize they were being pursued. They'd split up to enjoy the pleasures of the city and Hook had seen to it that they stayed busy, having quietly paid for some of their entertainment. He knew pirates and he knew their weaknesses, so that much had been easy to take care of, but their captain was another matter. Female pirates were a rarity and a captain was even rarer. Whoever this woman was, she must be exceptional to have gained that kind of status. He chose to tail her alone and followed her through the marketplace as she browsed the various wares. If there was an opportunity to pickpocket her and be done with it, he would, but she was too careful for that.
Instead he waited until she turned onto a less populated side street and caught up with her, drawing his cutlass to raise the point to her back. Smirking, he said, "Turn around, love, and keep your hands where I can see them. You have something I've been looking for. Hand it over and I'll let you go in peace, understand?"

She looked at the watch questionably, it was odd looking, where had it come from? It looked so foreign, maybe it was worth something more than her client had told her. She placed the watch in one hand and started to walk. Slyly she moved it to the other hand without anyone actually noticing. It's final resting place would be by her breast. She could tell someone was following her, but she continued browsing. She made conversation with one of the local vendors "Maybe another time." She ran her hand over the outfit folded on the table before walking off. The shadow had not left her and so she decided it was time to meet it. She moved down a side street and walked slower until she felt a mark on her back. She kept her fists close as she raised her hands in the air. Holding onto an object that was similar, but not the one that her client was after getting back. "Does that line ever work?" She spoked as she turned to look at the man and his weapon. " I have no idea what you are talking about, unless it's a kiss, even then your out of luck, love." She kept very still, but her eyes looked down to his cutlass. "Now this is no way to treat a lady, stranger" She moved a step back and her hands lowered as they moved behind her back. Her eyes watched his as if reading his next move. Lalinka dropped the object behind her and bent down without turning around to pick it up, but with it she managed to pick up a little bit of the sand. She placed the object in one hand and the sand in the other slyly behind her back. " Killian Jones

"You don't know, hmm? We both know that's not the case, love. I'm asking nicely, but try my patience and that will change quickly. Hand over the watch." He smiled coldly, never taking his eyes off her and keeping the cutlass steady. He could see that she held something in the grip of her hand. It might be the item he was after or it could be some kind of trick. Given that she was a pirate and had probably known he was tailing her, he was betting on a trick.
He watched her lower her hands and move them behind her. He was clear in his instructions and now she was calling his bluff. Daring him to follow through with the violence his threat had promised. Well, he wasn't about to shy away. Hook stepped closer, the point of his sword touching the soft skin of her throat. The sword followed her as she lowered to the ground and dropped the watch. She picked it up again, but the look in her eye betrayed her. She was about to try something and he wasn't in the mood for whatever it was. "Ah, ah, I said keep your hands where I can see them. Perhaps you prefer to do this the hard way, aye? Stand up. Let's see what you've got in your hand."

"what exactly is a watch?" She allowed eyes to widen slightly. When she had stood back up there was blade at her throat. "You want to know what is in my hand? Or are you wishing something else was in it? " Her eyebrow rose as she looked at him. "Your not very much fun you know that. Well at least you have your looks going for you." She tossed the sand into his eyes and nose and made a run for it. Oh, the streets hadn't changed that much and she knew how to bounce from one wall to another, a form of climbing really. She grabbed onto a beam and swung herself up. Looking down at hook, she opened her hand and let it dangling. "Is this a watch? Really? funny little thing. " Lalinka placed the watch on her arm and then balanced across the beam to the roof top. She gave a loud whistle from the roof top as she thought out the best logical plan. She placed the real watch on her wrist and the fake one under her dress so that might rest near her breasts.
"You want to know who your dealing with, then pay attention" She mumbled to herself hoping that stranger was trying to climb his way up. She stood at the other side of the roof as a memory popped up of Aladdin and her brother at this very spot. A smile came on her face as her feet picked up speed. Lalinka let her feet push off the roof top, her body flying through air as her body started to turn just as she reached. She continued to run and jumped onto the next rooftop, where she climbed up to a taller rooftop. How dare someone come after the same item as her and think they could succeed.
