Snow White is going to kill me. But here it is.... I am thinking about moving the forums to another host. I will do all of the moving unless you want to transfer your own threads. If that would be the case simply reply to this thread letting me know and I will skip your posts. Be warned if I post your rps then it'll be under Belle, but I'll make a note as to who originally posted it.
We have had a lot of issues with people not being able to log into the forums or getting banned.
I asked a few people on RPG-D and some had actually moved from proboards, here are some of their comments:

I was apart of a site that was originally on PB. I aided in the move from PB to JCINK, and I was able to move them in under 4 hours (they'd been open for 5 years at that point and had a lot of crap, we even moved over IC threads that were currently going for people). But I'm also wonderwoman, so.
Anyways, as others have said, there's no conversion. They only way to do this is to rip the bandaid off and just start up a new go on JCINK (just a move over) and have the PB around for archive and for moving things over, of course. If you aren't too familiar with JCINK and how it's set up, you're gonna have a hard time transferring and stuff so be patient with that.

There is a way to plug in a code in the ACP on jcink that will still allow that formatting to work and it's really useful for advertisers that are used to the [*center][/*center] format. I'd hate to see any members leave the site due to a move as well, but in the long run, you have to do what's best for the site and for its members. My other suggestion? Create a mock-up site on a jcink forum and let members play around on it and see if they like it. That should give you a better idea of who would dislike the idea and which ones wouldn't be adverse to the change. - Which means we could still use some of your templates Snow? Leroy/Grumpy

In regards to the [*center] templates, you can create custom bbcodes that enables you to emulate the Proboards version of custom bbcodes. It's relatively easy to do, and you can even create spoilers, etc. that way.
The tagging system, however, is in the works on JCink's end. He just has to finish the Premium Service, and the Alerts system for the integration of the Tagging stuff.
I would recommend what everyone else has said, and you get the benefit of the character switcher and change as poster on JCink. Coding is actually really easy, and literally everything on the board is pretty much customizable, including the build-in shoutbox. They also have a store system, and an awards system that could easily replace some of the features you have on Proboards for free.
My recommendation, of course.
Same as everyone else. Make a redirect, and people will just go to the new site to place their advertisements and in no time things will build up again.
I know that this might be popular for some of you and unpopular for others. I also know that this will take a lot of work and dedication, but I'm Belle so you should know by now that I am dedicated. Feel free to leave your input HERE not in Cbox. I value your opinions, but remember as the site owner I have to make this decision. I will do my best to bring all of the current aspects to the new site. Tinkerbell keeps getting banned and she is one of our most active members so it is only a matter of time until other people get banned. I am also waiting on Oz because he is as insane as me and knows the new forum system we are thinking about switching to. Oz if you could give some input I would appreciate it. Oscar "Oz" Diggs
New forums will not be open until completed, so you guys can just hang out and do things like normal. Then this will become a record and redirect. If we do this.
