{Before the First Curse-Kildenree} Belinda needed to get away,;far, far away from her life. Though she had escaped and had not been executed for her crimes, she was still not happy. She was going to be a princess, and one day Queen. Ophelia and her little friends had gotten a one up on her, but it was a fluke. With the help of Murphy and some of the other guards she had managed to escape with Marik in tow. Once he had found out that she was not his real bride-to-be, he had become rather unbearable. One more scream from the cellar was going to push her over the edge. Pretty soon her hair would be all ripped from her skull. This could not go on. She had briefly considered finding someone to put a spell of silence on the prince. But to Belinda, that didn’t seem cruel enough. No way was she going to make it easy for Ophelia to be reunited with her love. As usual, she would think of something and until then they were forced to hide away like vagrants. Earlier she had gotten a lot of her aggression out by sparring with a few of them men she was travelling with. Now, she needed a drink and had seen a small village near the abandoned building they were hiding out in. Although they were still in Kildenree, Belinda was not too worried she would get recognized. Just in case, she pulled her long hair into a braid and wore a hooded, gray cloak, a pair of tight black pants and knee-high gray boots that laced up the front. Avoiding any eye contact, she headed into the village in hopes of finding a tavern. Crinkling her nose, she was glad it didn’t take long to find. She could hardly stand the smell of such common places anymore. Quickly she pushed open the doors to the tavern; which wasn’t classy enough even to have a name. Her cold blue eyes scanned the bar, hoping to avoid the most scaly of folk. She noticed a spot near the end of the counter that was unoccupied, so she decided to claim it. Impatiently, she leaned over the bar when she approached. No one was behind the bar, and she needed a shot immediately. She waited for a moment, eyeing the rest of the tavern with no luck. At the moment, some men were being rather rowdy in the corner and distracting the rest of the patrons. Smoothly she began to lean over the bar, her fingers fiddling around for a bottle, any bottle. Travelling the seven seas on one of his adventures, was taking longer than he had ever imagined. Already they'd be lost at sea for nearly a full year. The boats supplies were running dry, many of the crew were getting sick and a stop off somewhere was needed to replenish and recuperate their lost hydration.
Much Rum was needed this night!
Always the last man off the ship, Jack trailed behind the crew ensuring that the Pearl was secure on the docks whilst they all disappeared to the nearest tavern. Shortly after he arrived to see them already with drinks and women in their hands, staggering about like they'd never tasted Rum before. Laughing at the mere sight of them he too walked to the bar and tossed the bar keep a piece of gold. "Drinks all round for my crew, mate and best not keep em waiting on refill's... Savvy?" Smirking at the young tender, he turned to view the array of folk, ranging in an array of stenches and aromas that tickled all his senses and pleased him to see such a fine establishment upon these strange and new shores.
A female, caught sight of his gaze. He tapped the corner of his hat, nodding slightly to her and walked on over as bold as brass. "Don't mind me love, just popping a squat until the rums all gone aye." Meaning he was just taking the seat next to her, without asking her permission as such but did in way too. He nodded to her, removed his hat and placed it onto the bar top. Tidying the feathers, that were strewn on it and looked back at his ships crew. Then back to the young woman who clearly wanted to hide behind that cloak of hers, blatantly asking. "So, who ya hidin from aye?, I see it your eyes that you been on a long and dangerous journey, I know the look all too well."
Leaning onto the bar with his elbows, his eyes wide he showed her that look Belinda Rohan/Adelaide Marx

Pulling the bottle over the counter, Belinda poured herself a tall glass of what she gleaned was rum. No name on the bottle, really? Sighing she returned the bottle to its original position before indulging in her beverage. It seemed the barmaid was occupied by the group of pirates in the corner. Pirates…. Strange beings. She agreed with the idea of pillaging and finding treasure, but the rest of piracy seemed rather, well how could she put it nicely, disgusting? Perhaps she enjoyed bathing too much. The smells wafted to her direction, and she drank her beverage quickly, hoping that catching a buzz would distract her. Before she realized what was happening, a pirate sauntered over to her, nodding his hat in her direction. Now, this could be interesting. There was a strut to his walk, as she had seen with many pirates before. Peering at him from behind her hood, she watched as he sat down on the stool next to hers. Her eyes scanned him briefly as he settled in, uninvited. Smirking, she turned to him and sipped her drink. “Feel free love, I don’t own the place.” She slowly set down her drink and crossed her arms over her chest. “Now dear pirate, have you lost all your manners at sea? Don’t you know a woman’s mysteries are her own?” Turning her whole body, she pushed back her hood, revealing her face to him. She raised her right eyebrow, the look in his eyes was wild. For a pirate, he was rather handsome, though it was hard to see past the grime and stench. Fortunately for her, this pirate was less offensive than most and the smooth scent of the rum was filling her mind. Warmth spread over her body, and her shoulders slightly relaxed. Good ol’ rum, never failed. “If you’d really like to know, how about you buy me a drink?” She challenged, shaking her empty glass and giving him an alluring smile. After the time she had been having, a drink with a dashing pirate didn’t sound half bad, even if his aroma was. Cap'n Jack

Quirking a brow her way, as she reached over and helped herself to a glass of rum and curiously he watched her drink it. Knocking it back in such a way, only confirmed that she had much on her mind, but this was not his concern he merely wanted to get her drunk and as always push his luck. See where it would get him, he liked the feisty ones for sure. When she removed the hood, and called him love he chuckled. "Glad you don't too, cause..." He paused and leaned in closer to her, to whisper. "You still have all your teeth" Pointing to his own teeth, fluttering his brows and the comment itself meant she was far too good looking to own such a dump as this.
As he'd turned to look out for Mr Gibbs, to see that he was just fine with a woman with overly sized breasts he chuckled but soon held his breathe as she spoke again to him, he casually turned to lean back on the bar and when she'd finished saying what she had to say he uttered. "See now there in lies a riddle to be riddled cause women are the riddle, yah see." Which in matter of fact, probably wasn't the best way to get in her good books but he didn't particularly care. He just needed some bread a fish or two and some more rum. Slogging back the contents of his glass she waved her glass in his face, looking at her through the glass with his head tilted to the side slightly he sat upright again and muttered his musings.
Furrowing his left brow, he looked at her again through slanted vision at her request for more rum. Smirking, nodding he jollily stated. "I already paid the mule a fair price for me crew. Don't see why you can't be an honorary pirate for the night eh." Grabbing a fresh bottle from the bar, he cared none for laws or the barkeep and his or her security measures. He had paid handsomely after all and so he poured her a glass before taking a mouthful from the bottle which he held at the neck. After swallowing, scrunching up his face as the after taste and burn slid down his throat he stated. "aaaaarh I missed this, while on my way to a place, no ones ever heard of nor been too or come back from at least." He wasn't speaking directly to her this time, more a statement about the rum and the latter part referred to his time on the seas in search of Neverland but right now, he needed to focus on her and get her talking. For the company at least.
"So there's your rum love whats your story and why you drinking alone?" Raising both brows he eyed up her posture and her curves before putting his line of sight squarely back on the bottle of rum in his hands clenched fist.

Amused, Belinda watched this pirate as he spoke. He was quite animated, and she couldn’t help but laugh at his joke. She accepted the “compliment” gracefully, slightly bowing her head and flashing him her pearly whites. “Oh my pirate, you sure know how to talk to the ladies.” She retorted sarcastically with a small smirk, fanning her face in an overly dramatic way. Through her past experiences she learned that pirates could be rather…. eccentric. Perhaps being at sea so long had drove most of them mad, or perhaps they were crazy to begin with which is why they chose a lonely life at sea. Either way, they had quirks and this one was no different. He mumbled a strange sort of saying under his breath, proving her point. Eyeballing him through the glass, she couldn’t help but smile. Gladly she accepted the drink and sipped it slowly as he spoke. She admired his confidence in himself, or was that confidence simply arrogance? The difference meant nothing to her, she appreciated someone who really didn’t care two shakes about others opinions of them. Sure, he could use a good bathing but hell, everyone had their downfalls. Although he seemed to be speaking to himself, rather than her, Belinda was intrigued by his comment. “A place no one’s ever heard of? Sounds like somewhere I’d get along.” She rolled her eyes and took a larger gulp. She realized she probably should slow down, but she consider herself a rather heavy drinker and often drank men under the table. Turning the glass around in her hand, she caught him looking her over out of the corner of her eye. Oh what fun this pirate was. She adjusted in her seat slightly, slowly crossing one leg over the other. “I’m not drinking alone anymore am I? To tell you my sorry would take quite some time, and I’d rather not bore you with all the details. Currently I am on the run from the royals of this land. Let’s just say… I have something that belongs to them.” She waved her hand ,chuckling slightly. With a swift motion, she lifted her glass and drained it, allowing the numbness to wash over her. Leaning towards him, she lifted her hand and touched his chin slightly, staring into his wide and wild brown eyes. Her blue eyes flashed as she spoke gently. “Come, come pirate I don’t even know your name and the night is still young. Plenty of time for tales of adventure and woe.” Cap'n Jack
