Pocahontas was running through the forest, the leaves whipping her face as she ran past them all. Her feet felt like they weren't even touching the ground she was going so fast, like a wind blowing through the woods and out to the sea. She came to a stop on top of the large boulder that looked out to the water and down to her village. She paused to take in the great expanse that was in front of her. Her life, her world and the ever reaching sea. Pocahontas felt the wind push her towards her village, she paused again, looking back to the woods from where she'd emerged from, she felt like she was looking back to her past, to her love. There was a lot for her father to forgive her for, there was a lot for John and the other to forgive her for, but the best thing about Pocahontas' friends was that they understood her sense of duty and loyalty to her father and her village. She frowned and started to descend the rock face to her village, to where her future, she thought, was.
Waking with a jolt Nadie frowned, she'd had the dream about the day she returned to her village after going to see John Smith/Marcus O'Malley. Her friend Lalinka had helped her leave the village and go see John, however her father was in trouble and she came back. Then the war... then the curse. Nadie's life hadn't been much better, she knew that and she didn't mind, your life is what you make of it, however she was VERY grateful her friends were around her still, and some family. She yawned as she got out of bed and, after getting ready she tied up her long, dark hair. She never used to wear it up in the Enchanted Forest, however in this world it was just easier. Or maybe it was something else. She didn't know and Nadie wondered if she cared to a point. As she grabbed her bag and jacket, Nadie looked at the photo that hung on her wall, it was a painted photo of a tree, a tree which reminded her of Grandmother Willow. Pocahontas missed more from her other life than she'd let on to anyone. Well maybe not grandmother Willow, she'd know before Pocahontas could even think about it never mind tell her.
Nadie walked down to Granny's with the full intention of getting some good food and a hot coco. She LOVED chocolate, and chocolate in a hot drink? Amazing. As she walked down she said hello to a few people, and got to Granny's just before the rush. She ordered a sandwich and her beloved hot chocolate before sitting at one of the tables to start looking through her books. Nadie was a conservation researcher, and she had continued this after the curse was lifted. Not only would it help take her mind off certain things, and get her back to nature which she loved, but it also helped the dwarves and the others know what land was around them and what they could find there. She was working on some survey maps when the door to Granny's chimed letting them know someone else had walked in. Pocahontas didn't even turn to see who it was, she was too into her hot chocolate which had just been brought over.
